I found my answere by first finding the population desities of the two states, then using that information to find the average population desity, which were 9.38.. Then i turned my numbers into algebra. Since i already knew the value of X i could easily ind the value of Y by timing the numer on the right side og the equation mark by the number on the left side. Then i subtracted that number from the total number of people that i started with and i got 8819 people.
